How do you view Young Goodman Browns change throughout the short story?
I view it as a matter of faith. At the start, Young Goodman Brown believes that his faith will conquer Satan and all evils. When he “sees” his wife Faith, his former teachers, and people he respected participating in demonic worship, he becomes sort of a superman of faith. He feels that he is the only righteous person.
