How do you view future developments in the light of the expansion of the EU? Will this lead to risks or opportunities for Smurfit Kappa Nettingsdorfer?
Expansion of the EU will have predominantly positive effects on Smurfit Kappa Nettingsdorfer. Due to our delivery radius, neighbouring Eastern European countries represent a very important market for us with a high level of demand, as they are experiencing a higher level of economic growth than the “developed” Western European countries. We are currently generating around 20% of our turnover in these countries.
