Viewing EPS files in Photoshop is easy, and if you’re working with a number of graphic design software programs, it’s something you will probably do frequently. EPS, or Encapsulated PostScript files are compatible with most graphic design software, and unlike large Tiff files, they take up little space on your hard drive. You only need to follow a few simple steps in order to view an EPS in Photoshop. Open a new Photoshop window. Click on “File.” Select “Open.” Highlight the EPS file you want to view and click “Open.” Specify how you want to view the EPS file in the dialog box that pops up after you click “Open.” Choose your preferred dimensions, the image resolution and the image mode.
