How Do You Use Windows Media Center On Vista To Record TV Programs?

One fun thing you can do with your computer is use Windows Media Center on Vista to record TV programs. You can turn your computer into a VCR with a TV card and a little preparation. And unlike your VCR, the recording on your computer doesn’t take up any physical space. Locate the Record button on the transport controls. The transport controls are the on-screen media control interface in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Hit the Record button. This is the dot just to the left of the Channel controls. Click on “TV & Movies” in the main menu of Windows Media Center. Open the guide. Search for the name of the TV show that you want to record. Right-click on the name of the TV show and then click on the Record button.
