How Do You Use Vacuum Sealing Jars With The Foodsaver Vac 820?
The vacuum seal canister is a remarkable invention that can be used in a myriad of ways. Among other things, they eliminate the clutter in your cabinets. Take the canister and the vacuum hose that comes with it. Fill the canister with the item you want to vacuum seal, and place the lid securely on canister. On the top of the canister there is a small hole and a release button. Take the hose and place one end into the hole on the top of the canister. Notice the green light on top of the foodsaver vac 820 and the small hole next to it. Take the tube running from the canister and attach the other end to the hole in the foodsaver vac 820. Place selector on vacuum and seal and then press down on lid. The light will turn green. Keep firmly pressing down until green light goes off. Remove tube from vacuum sealer and canister. When you want to open the canister just press the release button on the top of the canister.
