Tux Paint is an use educational software designed for children ages 3 to 12. Kids love to make pictures, and this software makes it easy for them to have fun painting and drawing. Learning to use Tux Paint is easy. Download Tux Paint to your computer and install the software. Follow the onscreen prompts for installation. Open Tux Paint. Kids open a blank canvas and choose from various tools to use, such as paint brush, rubber stamp, shape, line or text. If your child is unsure what a certain tool can do, encourage him to use it to find out. Press “Undo” if this does not create the desired effect. Try the next tool. Use the Tux Paint “Magic” tools for special effects. “Grass” paints clumps of grass, “Sparkles” draw glowing yellow sparkles. Experiment with all of the magic tools for the best effects.
