How Do You Use Tomtom Software?
TomTom portable GPS units are recognized as accurate and dependable personal navigation devices. They appear in cars, on phones, and in the hands of many wayfaring traveler as they navigate city streets as well as back-country roads. If you are interested in updating the maps installed on your TomTom device or would like to download maps for other geographical regions, it can easily be done using the TomTom’s website. Download TomTom’s HOME software to your computer (see Resources below). Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software. Connect your TomTom device to the computer with the USB cord and then turn the device on. HOME will open and then ask you to log in using your TomTom account password. Type in your account name and password and click “Enter”. HOME automatically checks your device for updates and then allows you to choose whether you want to download a new map or not.
