By downloading this application, you can know what the temperature is in your hometown simply by looking at your taskbar. You can also use the program to see local radar and even a 10-day forecast. Go to the official Weather Channel Desktop website to download the application. Once there, click on the red “Free Download Now” tab. Your download should begin shortly. Install the Weather Channel Desktop. Enter your zip code or the name of your city or town in the box that appears after the Weather Channel Desktop has been installed.
