How Do You Use The Realtek ALC880 Audio Codec?
Using the Realtek ALC880 high definition (HD) audio codec helps you get the most out of your digital audio. While installing the codec is necessary in order for your sound card to work, the codec also comes bundled with some features that will allow you take take your computer’s multimedia experience to the next level. Download a copy of the Realtek ALC880 driver to your computer and then launch the installation file (see Resources section). You may encounter a warning that your system can’t locate a “digital signature” or a “publisher” for the file–ignore the message and complete the installation. Click on the Realtek icon in your operating system’s “Quick Launch” menu to launch the Realtek Audio Manager. The “Sound Effect” will be selected by default.
