How Do You Use The Print Screen Function On A Keyboard?

0

The Print Screen function on your computer’s keyboard makes it easy for you capture an image on your desktop, place it in a document and print it out. Unlike the copy-and-paste feature that is part of the Windows environment, and will only let you copy portions of a displayed page, the Print Screen function allows you to capture the entire viewable area on your computer screen and print it, or save it if you so choose. Locate the key that reads ‘PRTSC/SYSRQ’ on your keyboard. This key will be on the very top row, in the last right quadrant. On a standard keyboard, the Print Screen key lies between the F12 key and the ‘PAUSE/BREAK’ key. Press the Print Screen key. Once you have identified a page that you wish to capture and print, you will initiate the Print Screen function. But, when you press the Print Screen key you will notice that, oddly, nothing happens. Of course, something does happen, but you won’t be aware of it until you reach the next few steps. Next, open up your word proce
