How Do You Use The Links Toolbar In Internet Explorer?
By default, the “Links” toolbar in Internet Explorer is hidden, but right-clicking anywhere on the toolbars shows an option to activate it. But, what is it and why would you need it? Well, it’s really a handy toolbar for all the links you want quick access to. • Right Click anywhere on the toolbar area of Internet Explorer, and activate (tick) the “Links” toolbar. It should then appear amongst the other toolbars, possibly in the bottom-right corner. Right-click again and unlock the toolbars if necessary, then drag the Links toolbar into a more accessible area; my own Links toolbar is just below the Menu bar. • At the moment, the toolbar is empty, but you can add your most popular sites to this bar, making navigation to them quick and easy. To do this, click on the favourites menu and look at the list of favourites. In amongst them is a “Links” folder. If you can’t see it or you’ve deleted it, choose “Organize Favourites” at the top and create a new folder called “Links”. • Next, choose
