How Do You Use The Drawing Toolbar In Microsoft Word?

0

Microsoft Word is a word processing program that is advanced enough to create websites, charts, graphs and even drawings. Creating drawings in a word processing program allows you to create diagrams that may help to better explain what you are trying to say in your writing. Drawing in Microsoft Word has changed over the years, but the general controls are still relatively the same. Open Microsoft Word by locating the program file on your computer. Locate the drawing tool (various shapes and lines) on Microsoft Word’s toolbar. For 2007 versions, you will need to select a drawing object from the “Insert” tab in order for the drawing tools menu to appear. You must double-click the object that you wish to use. In older versions, you will need to click “View,” “Toolbars” and then select “Drawing” to view the drawing tools menu. Click and drag to add the selected shape. Let go of the left mouse button to set your shape. Use the effects tool to add different effects and “fills” (backgrounds)
