If you need to use a calculator and don’t have one handy but do have a computer nearby Windows provides you with a calculator, it can be a standard calculator or you can change it into a scientific calculator. Click the Start Button, point to All Programs, click Accessories, and then click Calculator. By default the calculator is in Standard View, if you wish to use a Scientific calculator, click the View Menu and then Scientific. Enter a number by using the numbers at the top of the keyboard OR by using the numeric keypad OR click on the numbers with your mouse. Click a function button, then enter another number. If you are using the keyboard to enter the numbers the + signs performs addition, the – sign subtraction, the * sign performs multiplication and the / sign performs division. When you are done, click the equals button OR push the Enter key. If you wish to insert the results into a document, click the Edit menu and then click Copy. Position your insertion point in the document
