How Do You Use The Ask.Com Desktop Search?

0

The Ask.com Desktop Search indexes images, documents, emails, music, videos and other files on your computer, so you can search for virtually anything in seconds. You don’t have to waste time organizing your computer into an advanced-filing structure or spend time trying to remember where things are located. Just use the Ask.com Desktop Search. Start the Ask.com Desktop Search application if the small “Ask.com” icon isn’t already present on the bottom-right corner of the start bar. Right-click the “Ask.com” icon. A menu will pop up. Select “Set Default Interface” to open the next menu. Select “Always use the application interface.” The application is often more effective than the web interface. Right-click the “Ask.com” icon again. Click “Open Application Interface.” The Ask.com Desktop Search application will open and display the indexing status and how many items have already been indexed. Click any of the links to get the associated file to open. The right column shows the indexing
