Use an old tea cup and saucer to design your own birdfeeder or garden candle holder. Make one for yourself and plan on a few extras for friends and family who will surely admire these sweet creations. Select a cup and saucer, either a matched set or mismatched, in a color and pattern that coordinates with patio furnishing and/or plants. Paint the spindle post/leg to coordinate with the tea cup and saucer. A single, neutral shade works well, however, be sure to use exterior paint. Place a bit on the drill tip and slowly, gently chip away layers of porcelain on both the bottom center of the cup and saucer (individually) until there is a hole equal to the screw diameter.
