Instead of spending your time scrubbing and scouring your stainless steel to keep it looking good, learn the trick to cooking with stainless steel skillets and you’ll appreciate the true quality of these products on your kitchen stove. Turn your stove burner on to the desired setting for your recipe. Place your dry, empty stainless steel skillet on the burner and allow the pan to heat to temperature, approximately two minutes. Add any oil, butter or other cooking medium to the skillet and turn the pan slightly to coat the bottom. Let heat for an additional minute.
