How Do You Use Spywareblaster?
SpywareBlaster is a free tool that can be used to remove unwanted adware, malware and trojans from your computer. These are nasty little bugs that you may pick up if you surf sites that aren’t reputable. These bugs can not only crash your computer, but can also result in data being stolen. SpywareBlaster is a free download and an easy-to-use tool. Launch the application from the “Start” menu. When it opens up, you will see the protection status; beneath this are Mozilla (Firefox) and Internet Explorer, which are the two main browsers it protects. Make sure these both say “Protection Enabled” in green next to them. There will also be a line that says “Restricted Sites”—you might want to enable that as well. These are sites known to have spyware on them; SpywareBlaster will prevent you from going there. Defend against cookies and Active X attacks.
