How Do You Use Sealing Wax With A Glue Gun?
Sealing wax adds a refined touch to handwritten correspondence, taking recipients back to the nostalgic days of hand-carried love letters and invitations. Rather than risking a burn using a hot pot or spoon of melted wax, ornament your letters with wax glue gun inserts, creating seals that are flexible, durable and elegant. Plug in your glue gun, and load the sealing wax stick into its barrel. Wait several minutes for the glue gun to heat. If you own a glue gun with dual temperature settings, use the higher setting unless you’re sealing something delicate like tissue paper. When you begin to see a bead of wax forming on the tip of the gun, you’ll know it is hot enough. Select the seals or embossing coins you’d like to use.
