If you have oily skin, there are herbs which can be used to help with the condition. Rosemary and chamomile are excellent for treating oily skin conditions. Both of these herbs are easy-to-grow perennial herbs and really should be a part of any herb garden. If you do not have these herbs in your garden, you can visit your local fresh market or herbal store. The dried leaves and flowers can be used in place of the fresh. This is a simple cleanser, which is easily made at home and which does not require any special essential oils or exotic herbs. Collect about 2 ounces of fresh rosemary. Be sure to use the tender top parts of the plant. (You can use about 1 ounce of rosemary if you are using dried rosemary. I do prefer the fresh, though, when using for cosmetic applications.)
