Christmas cards and ornaments made from materials you might otherwise throw out are not only thoughtful, they are also eco-friendly. Send the message to friends and family this Christmas that you care for them and for the Earth. Recycle several items and materials, from paper grocery bags to juice boxes, to create greeting cards and ornaments this holiday season. Cut a rectangle of about eight inches by 10 inches out of a brown paper bag using scissors. Fold it in half. This is the base of your card. Draw the shape of a Christmas tree or a wreath onto a sheet of Christmas wrapping paper with a pencil. Cut it out with scissors. Glue the shape to the front of your card with white glue.
