How Do You Use Prisma Water Color Pencils In Drawings?
Water color pencils are great to draw with and can add beautiful effects to an artwork. Using them is simple, but there are additional art techniques with them that are a little obscure. First, the original and simple way to use watercolor pencils is to dip the tip of the pencil into water. Then simply brush the pencil over your medium and let your imagination unfold. The pastel colors created by water colors can help make your drawings look amazing. A second way to use these pencils is with a brush. First take a paint brush (a small watercolor brush will do fine) and add a tiny bit of water to the bristles. Then brush along the tip of the colored pencil, getting the pigment on the brush. Use the brush to draw on your medium or paper and get some really cool designs! This is more of a side note, but the shavings and residue from these water colored pencils can be saved. Later, put the shavings in water and use that colored water as you would a normal water color paint set (use a brush)
