Fresh parsley is best, but dried parsley will do in a pinch, in smaller amounts as the dried form is more concentrated. Just take a few of the leaves, seeds, and stems and place in the tea ball to make a tea. Parsley can be used as a diuretic and is used to treat bladder and kidney infections. Parsley tea made from the seeds and leaves can be used to treat dropsy, jaundice, asthma, coughs, and suppressed or difficult menstruation. If treating a cough or asthma it may also help to add a spoonful of honey to the tea. A tea made from crushed parsley seeds also kills lice on the scalp. Steep 1 Tbsp leaves in 1 cup water for 20 minutes, then remove the tea ball, reheat and drink.
