It is rare for me to rate an article “moderately challenging.” In fact, this is the only time I’ve ever done it. It’s because I’ve seen how difficult constipation in children can be. It’s frustrating, especially when it’s been a while since your child had a bowel movement. So, I decided to research the situation in the hopes that parents will find comfort and help with this. The following advice is what I came up with. With the exception of drinking water, only try ONE of these suggestions at a time. They WILL work and you don’t want to accidentally give your child diarrhea. Give your child some prune juice.
