Flea protection can be achieved without breathing in dangerous chemicals. Vacuum daily if you have a flea infestation. A vacuum should catch nearly all the adult fleas if you are diligent. It will also remove some of the eggs and larva from carpeting. Don’t forget the furniture and car. After vacuuming, seal the bag inside a plastic trash bag and get rid of it. Use flea traps which use an incandescent light bulb to attract the buggers. The fleas are then trapped on sticky paper for you to dispose. If your pet sleeps inside, wash his bedding regularly. Or replace the normal pet bed with a cedar filled one. Cedar filled beds should be avoided if you have kids with breathing problems. Feed your pet a small amount of brewers yeast. Fleas will not like the taste. Ask your vet what amo
