How Do You Use Mediums In Corel Painter X?

0

Corel Painter X has 36 different digital mediums that can be used to mimic real painting and drawing mediums. Each medium has its own special properties and adjustments. Here is how to use these mediums with a new or saved project. Open a new project in Corel Painter X. Locate the medium drop down menu by looking at the right, upper side of the screen. When you hover over the menu with your mouse the medium menu will say ‘brush category.’ Press the arrow to open the menu and scroll through the choices and select the medium that best suits your need. Go to the brush variant menu right next to the brush category menu. Select the brush style and shape you would like to use. Move to the left, upper side of the screen. Adjust the size and opacity of your brush by clicking the arrow buttons and sliding the scroll bar back and forth. Select your color by double clicking the square on the left side of the screen that says ‘main color’ when you hover over it with your mouse. Click on the color
