Magellan MapSend is a free downloadable software program that contains detailed digital maps that can be used on any Magellan Explorist series GPS device. Learning to operate the Magellan MapSend program is simple and can be completed in just a few steps. Download the Magellan MapSend Lite software program for free from the Magellan GPS website. Follow the instructions provided to download the Magellan MapSend installer. Double click the Magellan MapSend Lite icon, click “Next” and read and agree to the licensing agreement. Click “Finish” when the InsallShield Wizard Complete window is displayed. Double click the Magellan MapSend Lite icon on your desktop to launch the program. Each time the program is launched, Magellan will automatically search for updates. If updates are available, the MapSend Auto Update window will appear.
