How Do You Use Laning Suppression Fire In Paintball?
Suppression fire is an intermediate paintball tactic. In fact, it’s more of a strategy than a tactic, but it still takes concentration and accuracy to execute successfully. The main goal of laning suppression fire is to force your opponent to take cover so your other team members can invade their ground. You’ll also need decent finger speed to lay down a proper cover of paintballs for your teammates. Make sure your paintball gun has a good marker, fast hopper, large air tank and reliable air tank regulator before attempting suppression fire. You need these to establish a consistent flow of paintballs. Set yourself up toward the back of your team’s territory. This broadens your field of vision and allows you to watch your teammates’ movements before laying down your fire. Pick a small area of ground to cover with your fire. Suppression fire relies on quality, as well as quantity. Spreading your aim too thinly allows your opponents to return fire or break out of their defensive positions
