How Do You Use L-Rods For Dowsing?
Dowsing is an ancient technique for locating objects and receiving answers to specific questions by using two, L-shaped metal rods. Proponents of dowsing believe the information is channeled directly into the L-rods from the spirit world, causing them to open or cross themselves to indicate “yes” or “no” in response to direct questions. The L-rods are usually made out of copper, brass or steel; but L-rods formed from two simple coat hangers are just as accurate as manufactured L-rods. Make two dowsing L-rods out of wire coat hangers. Take wire cutters and cut off the hanger hook. Straighten the coat hanger. Measure your L-rod handle so that it’s six inches long. Make a 90 degree bend at the end of the handle, creating an L-shaped rod. The long part of the rod should be three times the length of the handle.
