How Do You Use Google Sketchup?
SketchUp is a 3-dimensional drawing and modeling software program that allows the user to create architectural drawings to scale and render profiles and cross-sections of the drawing. Acquired by Google, the search engine company, SketchUp provides both free and fee-based options for drawing. Download the free version of Google SketchUp to get started. As a complete 3-D modeling program, SketchUp offers the user a wide assortment of automated drafting tools and options for viewing the result. (See Resources) Install the program after downloading by double-clicking on the file name. As an executable file, the program will open and installation will begin. Enter a registration name and to choose options for the program. Open Google SketchUp and the main drawing board will appear on your screen.
