How Do You Use Genius With Apple Itunes?
Apple just launched Genius with the release of iTunes 8 the other day. It basically recommends music based on your own iTunes library. How cool is that? Why not get Genius to recommend some music for you? Download iTunes 8, available at the Apple Store. Open iTunes. You should have a side bar that asks if you would like to open Genius. Click Open Genius. You will be transferred to the iTunes store and asked to log in. Make sure you use your iTunes log in and not your Mac log in. Your iTunes log in will be an e-mail address and a password. If you don’t have one yet, create one. It’s free and only takes a few minutes. A new page will open asking if you would like to start Genius. Click Yes and it will transfer your music collection to Apple. When the transfer is complete, click on a song. Genius will suggest songs that are similar and songs from the same artist you don’t have yet. Click BUY to purchase them.
