How do you use Emu Oil?
Emu oil is simple and easy to use. Just apply a drop or two onto the area you are treating and spread it around. You don’t need to rub it all the way in because it is a penetrating oil and will soak it on its own. Apply more emu oil if needed to cover entire treatment area. The skin should not feel oily when you are finished. If it does, you have probably used too much. Simply reduce the amount that you use next time.
If you are treating a wound, cut, or abrasion you may want to cover the area after you apply the emu oil. Keep in mind that the emu oil will prevent the adhesive from sticking so only put the emu oil on the wound.
