Drysol is a topical medicated solution that helps control excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis of the feet, hands or arm pits. It is a prescription antiperspirant that is available in 35, 37.5,or 60 cc containers (a cc is a metric unit of volume equal to a milliliter, or one-thousandth of a liter). The solution is applied directly to the skin. The 35 and 60 cc come in a plastic container that has a special “Dab-O-Matic” applicator that allows users to “dab” on the solution and control the amount applied. Specific directions should be followed when applying the medication with this applicator.
