Digital cameras are a wonderful resource. However, many digital cameras have features that their owners never use. Oftentimes we make mistakes with digital cameras that cause the pictures to come out looking less than perfect. There are many ways to overcome this problem and use our digital cameras more efficiently. Read your user’s manual carefully. If your eyes start to cross or if you feel that you can’t digest all the information, try practicing with your camera a little bit. You may also find it beneficial to put the advanced user guide away, and stick to the basic user guide for a while. Observe all warnings in your user’s manual. Approach each element in the user’s manual one at a time. For example, practice taking a picture, playing the picture back and erasing a picture according to your manual’s instructions.
