How Do You Use Cuttlebug Folders With A Sizzix Machine?

Embossed papers are a fantastic way to add a creative embellishment to crafts. Many card makers and scrapbook enthusiasts enjoy embossing paper for projects. Using the Sizzix machine and the Cuttlebug embossing folders make the chore of embossing papers easy. Place the system converter in the Sizzix machine. It simply slides under the pressure plate and is held in place by a magnet. If no system converter is available, stack three layers of the cutting pad and place them on the Sizzix machine. Cut the cardstock or paper to the appropriate size and shape needed for the project. Open the Cuttlebug embossing folder. Place the paper between the layers of the embossing folder, positioned with the right side of the paper facing up. Close the embossing folder. Place the embossing folder onto the Sizzix machine. Slide the folder through and press down on the lever to emboss each section. Depending on the size of the folder, it may have to be pushed a couple of times to complete it.
