Fresh Corn Silk, also known by its Latin name of Zea Mays, is a very useful herb. It has medicinal properties and can be used in healing bladder infections, urinary disorders, prostrate problems, boils, sores, cystitis, incontinence, as well as bed wetting in children, water retention, appetite stimulation, weight loss and many other issues. While it is not suggested to replace any medical advice or medications with corn silk, you can complement your treatments with corn silk.
