How Do You Use Chrome Spray Paint?
Many different brands of spray paint carry chrome-colored paint. Chrome spray paint requires the same application technique as any other color of spray paint. When spraying an object with any brand of spray paint, it is always important to follow the manufacturer’s directions. However, there are a few basic techniques to follow when applying chrome spray paint. If you follow the proper techniques, your project will end up with a professional-looking finish. Lay down a drop cloth on a flat surface in a well-ventilated area. Set the object to be painted onto the drop cloth. Shake the spray paint can for at least two minutes from the time the mixing ball begins to clang inside the can. Make sure to follow the shaking time as indicated in the directions. Position the spray paint nozzle 10 to 12 inches above the object and a few inches to the left or right of the object. Press the spray nozzle and, in one sweeping motion, spray the paint over the object from left to right or right to left.
