How Do You Use Burnt Compact Florescent Light Circuit Module?

0

Compact florescent lights (CFL) are becoming increasingly popular with people who want to save a little money on their power bills. When a CFL goes out, it is not down for the count; the circuit module in the CFL is still usable. Follow these steps to remove and utilize a CFL circuit module. Begin the process. There is a seam where the CFL can by pried apart. This seam may be securely fitted, glued or even welded in place. Sometimes you may be able to use a flathead screwdriver to separate this, but it is easier to use a hacksaw and cut the bulb slightly. Separate the bulb parts. Now that you have a small cut in the bulb, use the flathead screwdriver to separate as needed. When the seam is weak enough, twist the two parts apart. Remove the circuit module. Look at the picture above and you will see wires coming from the CFL circuit module. The wires to the left go to your power supply; the two pairs of wires on the right are your positive and negative wires. Connect module to an 18 to 2
