How Do You Use Bleach To Clean RV Siding?
The siding of recreational vehicles (RV’s) requires occasional cleaning, as with any other vehicle. Dirt, road salt and debris can quickly accumulate during long travels. You have to safely clean the vehicle without causing damage. A mild bleach solution, combined with a few other cleaning elements, will do the job. Rinse off the RV siding with a garden hose, using a high-power stream. Fill a bucket with water and oxygen bleach. This bleach, available at grocery or hardware store, cleans safely with an oxygenated method rather than harsh chemical agents that can damage the siding. Dip an RV siding brush in the solution, then scrub the siding. Work your way from the top of the RV to the bottom, scrubbing in 3-by-3-foot sections. Rinse after scrubbing each section to prevent the cleaning solution and residue from drying back onto the siding. Hose the siding again to remove any remaining residue, then allow to air dry.
