Beconase is a corticosteroid prescription nasal inhaler available in Canada and used for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergies, particularly hay fever. A doctor may prescribe Beconase to prevent nasal polyps from growing back after surgical removal. Beconase is not available in the United States. Follow these steps for safe use of this medication. Consult your physician to determine whether a prescription for Beconase is right for you. The medication should not be used by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, as coticosteroids have been clinically proven to increase the risk of birth defects. Shake well before using the inhaler precisely as prescribed by your doctor.
