How Do You Use Baking Soda To Remove Blackheads?
Blackheads are small skin blemishes that appear on the surface due to a build up of excess oil and dead skin cells. They are called blackheads because the pigment on the surface of the blemish has a blackened appearance. If you have blackheads, you probably want an easy and inexpensive treatment to get rid of them. Using baking soda on blackheads has proven to be an effective method. Put approximately ½ teaspoon of pure baking soda a in a clean bowl. Add 1/2 teaspoon of warm water and blend. If desired, add ¼ teaspoon of sea salt. (If you have a large number of blackheads, increase these amounts.) Apply the baking soda mixture to a clean, dry towel. Massage the different areas of your face that have blackheads. Rinse off the baking soda with warm water. Wipe away any residual baking soda powder with a towel. You can repeat this process every few days in order to remove blackheads.
