Image editor programs such as Paint.net, PaintShop or Photoshop are essential programs to know if you’re going to be doing any digital image manipulation or photography. There are many features that are common to most image editing programs have some similar features, making it easy to learn how to use one and then applying that knowledge to another program as well. This document uses Paint.net as an example but the same concepts can be applied to all of the image editing programs. Open an existing image. Click on “File,” then “Open” or click on the folder icon in the toolbar to find the file.
