How Do You Use An HP Scanner?

0

HP scanners are now available with extremely high resolution settings. However, most every day uses do not require high resolution. Using the highest settings will result in long scanning times and extremely large file sizes. Fortunately, it doesn’t take much time to learn how to use an HP scanner and the software that comes with it. The latest scanners come with a software package that helps to integrate your HP scanner with your HP digital camera and printer. Start the HP Solution Center. Click Settings > Scan Settings > Button Settings at the bottom of the left pane. Click the Scan Picture Button tab. Under “Scan to” select the program you would like to edit the image with after the scan is finished. For example, if you would like the scanner to automatically open Photoshop whenever you scan an image, select Photoshop from the list. If you don’t want to open a program immediately to edit your scan, select “Save to File.” Then select the image file type. To save space, select *.jpg.
