The Action Replay from Datel Electronics is a hardware ROM editor that allows gamers to change the way the game is played by entering alphanumeric sequences that alter the game’s code. Using the Action Replay with the Nintendo GameCube is an easy but somewhat tedious task, requiring frequent disc- and memory-card swapping. Insert your Action Replay disk into the Nintendo GameCube and plug in the Action Replay hardware into the GameCube’s memory card slot. Power on the Nintendo GameCube and let it boot into Action Replay.
