How Do You Use A Wrist-Rocket Slingshot?
“Wrist-Rocket” is a trademark of Saunders Archery of Columbus, Nebraska, which, since 1954, has manufactured the Wrist-Rocket slingshot for use by hunters, soldiers and people who should know better than to misuse a slingshot but don’t. The Wrist-Rocket is known for its distinctive wrist brace that helps steady the slingshot and deliver more penetrating power for the shot. Grip the Wrist-Rocket firmly in one hand with the brace squarely in contact with your wrist. Place a piece of ammunition in the pouch between the elastic power bands. The Wrist-Rocket is designed to work with quarter- or half-inch diameter steel shot, depending on the model. In a pinch, ordinary pebbles or marbles can be substituted, but will not have the range or penetrating power. Draw back the pouch as far as the elastic will stretch. Sight the intended target between the prongs of the slingshot, if using any Wrist-Rocket model other than the Wrist-Rocket Pro, in which case you sight over the prongs. Release the p
