VHF wireless microphones can be easily connected to your computer through the microphone port. The microphones function by wirelessly connecting to a receiver, which is then physically connected, usually by XLR cable, to a mixer or computer. A VHF microphone typically has a smaller range than that of a UHF wireless microphone, however, the VHF battery and power usage are typically superior to those of a UHF wireless microphone. Plug the female XLR connector into the output end of the VHF receiver. Plug the other end of the cable into the microphone input on the computer. Plug the power cable of the VHF receiver into the power outlet. Insert the batteries into the microphone and turn the microphone on.
