How Do You Use A Strawberry Planter Indoors?
Growing a culinary herb garden indoors is a dream of many cooks. Using a strawberry pot to grow them can make this dream a reality for even those with extremely limited space. The pockets of a strawberry pot make it possible to grow many different herbs in a single container. Fill the planter with potting soil. Use a good potting soil and lightly fill the strawberry pot to within 2 inches of the top. Insert herbs into the individual pockets. The best guide to herb placement is to put herbs that require the most water at the bottom and work your way up. The largest herb should go on top as it has the most space to grow. Set the strawberry pot in the clay dish. The dish should be a minimum of 1 inch deep and no more than 3 inches deep. Place the dish in a sunny location, preferably in your kitchen, and set the strawberry pot into it. Fill the clay dish with water. The water will wick up into the pot and keep the plants well watered. Keep the dish filled.
