The system for this is straightforward, not overly expensive, and can be a great way to conserve water. You will need to make careful plans in order to make the system work efficiently. Select the best location for your water storage tank. This should be a minimum of 10 feet from your home and away from any utility lines or your current septic system. Ideally the location will be near a corner of your home where a gutter downspout is located and where there is access to electrical power.
