How Do You Use A Mattress Topper?
Mattress toppers provide protection to the mattress underneath and create thicker, more comfortable bedding. Toppers are most commonly made with a foam material, and include memory foam and “egg carton” construction. Mattress toppers are available in a wide variety of thicknesses, so choose the design that best fits your needs. To ensure the correct match, test out several toppers at your local mattress store. Remove the mattress topper from its packaging. Remove all bedding from the mattress. Place the rolled or folded mattress topper on top of the bare mattress. Unfold or unroll the mattress topper over the mattress. Slide the topper across the mattress to adjust the position. The topper should evenly cover the entire top surface of the mattress. Place a fitted sheet or a fitted mattress cover over the topper, and replace the remainder of the bedding.
