How Do You Use A Magic Mirror?
The magic mirror is an ancient divination tool that is still used in modern witchcraft rituals. Like all witchcraft rituals, using a magic mirror takes practice and the right circumstances to be able to “see” the future or to get the answers you’re looking for. Typically, magic mirrors are made of smooth, black glass. Cast your magic circle during a full moon. The full moon is associated with divination. Cleanse the magic mirror. Typical cleansing materials are water or the smoke from burned sage. Rub mugwort or other divination herb on the magic mirror. Move your candles or light sources so that they are not reflected in the mirror. Concentrate on your purpose and gaze into the mirror. Try to look “through” the mirror. Breathe in and out and concentrate. Allow images or thoughts to come to you to give you the answers you seek.
