How Do You Use A Homemade Bow Maker?
Sometimes it’s hard to find just the right bow and when you do they can be so expensive. Making your own is a whole lot cheaper and it will ensure that you will have just what you were looking for. After you have decided what length you would like your bow, lay your string/wire where the center of your bow will be (see image). You can either use string or wire to tie your bow. For this example I have used string. Tape the end piece of your ribbon to your bow maker as shown. Proceed to wrap your ribbon around the dowels in a figure 8 pattern. Start at the bottom right and go to top left. Then go around the top right dowel to the bottom left. Use thread to tie ribbon. Pull thread tightly and tie in a double knot.
